Neurodiversity Awareness Training

Inclusion and accessibility are today indispensable elements of the debate on social rights, the labor market, and culture. We have a responsibility to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to participate in society's diverse offerings. When we talk about neurodiversity, it is about adapting society and our work environments to include different ways of thinking, learning, and acting. This is not only a necessity but also an opportunity to enrich our workplaces and our culture with a broader perspective and greater understanding.

The award-winning British theatre company Zoo Co invites you to a three-hour workshop that will provide you with a deeper understanding of neurodiversity. The workshop is led by individuals with personal experience of neurodiversity, who will share their stories and best practices. You will receive an introduction to ADHD, autism, OCD, Tourette’s syndrome, and complex tics, followed by group discussions on perceptions and experiences with neurodiversity. There will be room for questions and reflection, allowing you to take away concrete insights.

The workshop is designed for employees, managers, and leadership teams in all types of organizations -anyone who wishes to support their colleagues and promote an inclusive workplace.

The workshop is led by Access Coordinator Hannah Skalli and Creative Access Director Fleur Rooth from Zoo Co.

What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity is a term that acknowledges that people have different ways of thinking, learning, and processing information. It encompasses natural variations in the human brain and includes diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, Tourette syndrome, and other cognitive differences.
